Back in Bangi! :D

• Saturday (5.10.2013)
• Sent hubby to work. He's 3rd oncall for the week 
• Filled up the tank
• Went to 1Borneo to buy groceries for today's lunch with friends
• Menu was simple: Grilled mayonnaise black pepper chicken wings with mixed fried veggies in oyster sauce plus rice, 2 batches of apple crumbles. They all loved it! :D
• Friends arrived 2ish and went back at 4ish. Thanks for the company guys!
• Sent hubby his dinner: Cheese & Herb pasta with apple crumbles. Happy to see him eat :))
• Made seeds and nuts bread for hubby. Hope it lasts for the week! ;)
• Enough at the kitchen! Slept like a dead log that night. ZzZz

• Sunday (6.10.2013)
• Leaving for KL today already. It's been a month here. How time flies :(
• Fetch hubby at the hospital and went for breakfast thereafter. Roti canai. Yumm!
• Had a walk along Filipino market at Gaya Street. Macam-macam ada :D
• Had Chatime at City Mall. Yay!!
• Headed back home and had lunch one last time
• Watched Ep. 1 of Under the Dome with hubby which he just bought and which I would bring home with me :P 
• Packed my stuff and arrived at KKIA2 around 6.30pm
• Had Dunkin Donuts with hubby. Got extra 1 for free, for wrong flavour they gave me before. Alhamdulillah, rezeki :)
• Departed at 8.10pm and arrived LCCT around 10.45pm
• Had much awaited mom's cooking at home- Ikan Jenahak masak lemak with pucuk ubi tempoyak. Super delicious!!
• Glad to be home :)))

• Monday (7.10.2013)
• Bangun lambat. *Groggy, groggy* 
• Went to pick up my registered letter from MMC at the post office
• Deposited some money at CIMB
• Received my extra payment money from IIUM Finance this morning. Alhamdulillah ;)
• Bought some groceries for today's lunch- Ikan bawal masak taucu, mixed veggies with oyster sauce, apple crumbles (again!!)

Nearing the weekend...

• Friday (4.10.2013)
• To call IIUM Finance for the money transfer thing. Yep, still unsettled :-/
• To do laundry and clean up the new drawer! :)
• To plan a small makan-makan with my friends on Saturday at our new house. Hubby approved of it :)

• Hubby oncall today
• Cooked cheese omellete for hubby
• Went to Giant to buy some groceries
• Bought Pizza Hut for dinner and sent hubby a pizza ;)
• Marinated chicken thigh for tomorrow's dinner with hubby- Moroccan style!

• Had cereal with honey for breakfast
• To call IIUM Finance for confirmation
• Roasted yesterday's chicken for dinner. Success! :)
• Made an apple pie/crumble. Had it with mint ice cream. Hubby loved it. Super yumm! :D~

• 2.10.2013 (Wednesday)
• Pancakes for breakfast
• Went to Wisma Muis to confirm my order at the furniture store :)
• Night laundry
• Watched TV at night- switching channels like all the time. lol

• 3.10.2013 (Thursday)
• Hubby's second oncall for the week
• A new drawer arrived in the afternoon. Yay! :D
• Hubby dropped by and had some mint ice cream with Oreo cookies
• Sent hubby back to work and I went to Giant store 
• Called my parents. Abah said there were 2 letters for me. From SPA & MMC. Alhamdulillah :D
• Cooked myself a late dinner- Ikan Cencaru Bercili. Super pedas >,<
• Cleaned up the chicken thighs and marinated them for tomorrow's dinner. Hubby's fave now :)
• To clean the new drawer tomorrow!

• Beautiful weather! B-)
• Hubby on leave for 3 days :))
• Muesli bread turned out fine! Yumm
• Went to Kampung Warisan nearing afternoon with hubby. Nice houses! 
• Picked up my father-in-law at the airport. He came for work at Sutera Harbour and stayed here for 3D2N
• Had lunch together at Kak Nong!'s place. Not bad.
• Brought daddy to our new home and he stayed for a couple of hours before checking into the hotel
• Sent daddy to the hotel in the evening and we all went for an amazing walk! Beautiful red sunset. It was a rarity. Subhanallah :))
• Had dinner at Salut Seafood- buttered prawns, chilli crabs and mixed veggies with rice. It was awesome! Will bring my family there next time around :D

•  20.09.2013 (Friday)
• Off to Kudat at 6.30am! 
• Dropped off recycling items at the recycling centre
• Arrived at the tip of Borneo around 10am. Woohoo :)
• Had a little tour around Kudat town and had lunch in one of the restaurants
• Drove back and had dinner outside
• Bought some groceries at Giant 
• Called it a day!

• Breakfast at home
• Housekeeping
• Went to Sutera Harbour to fetch Daddy in the afternoon
• Went a for a walk at Tg Aru Beach. Spotted long tailed parakeet and parrots ;)
• Sent Daddy to the airport. Hope to see him again next time! :)
• Explored the road to JPJ office at Jln Bundusan. Hubby needed to renew his license
• Watched Pitch Perfect later that night with hubby at home. Acca-cuse me! :P

• Had spaghetti bolognaise for lunch and dinner
• Made white loaf for the first time after dinner. Success! :D

• Had white bread toast for breakfast. Yumm :D
• Had black pepper fish fillet with hubby for dinner at home

• Hubby's second oncall for the week
• Browsed through IIUM portal and checked my financial statement
• Couldn't get access to Bank Islam account online
• Called Bank Islam centre for help with account
• Went to Bank Islam to re-register online pin
• Succeeded after 2nd time. Alhamdulillah

• 5 hours of black out the whole town in the afternoon
• Couldn't do much today :(

• 26.09.2013 (Thursday)
• Hubby third oncall for the week 
• Filled up the tank at gas station
• Called IIUM finance about my overpayment. To call again next week
• Made seeds and nuts bread. Better than never ;) 
• Sent some bread and chicken cheese sausages to hubby at work :)

• 27.09.2013 (Friday)
• Hubby got home for awhile during lunchtime for Friday prayer
• Cleaned up the front porch thanks to some stinking cat poop :(
• Made carbonara for dinner with hubby

• 28.09.2013 (Saturday)
• Hubby had a half day course at Likas Hospital
• Cooked yesterday's marinated chickens for lunch with hubby :)
• Went to Sabah Indoor Climbing Centre @ Likas Sports Complex for rock climbing! Super excited :D
• Met Rusdiah and Nad as planned :))
• Celebrated Nad's coming birthday with friends at Secret Recipe, Perdana Park later that night
• Awesome day! :D

• 29.09.2013 (Sunday)
• Went to Mahua Waterfall, Tambunan
• Very foggy uphill and along the way
• Arrived at the waterfall around 10am. Breathtaking scenary inside the forest. Spotted unexpected birds like orange breasted Trogon, reddy cuckoo dove and Ochraceous bulbul! All 3 lifers for me :D
• Stopped by for prayer at Rafflesia Centre in the way back. Spotted barbet and orange headed thrush! :D
• Had lunch at Sailor's Cafe, Penampang

The day just gets better :)

• Monday (16.09.2013)
• Hubby oncall again today :(
• "Celebrated" Malaysia Day by myself
• Too lazy to drive hubby to work, resulting in me with no car to go around (my own choice)
• Spent my whole time being a couch potato--> ASTRO magic channels suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Watched almost everything till I couldn't just watch anymore
• Cooked Sambal Tumis Udang, with step by step instructions from Mom over the phone. Didn't have 2 important ingredients such as kicap manis & asam jawa but went on without them anyway. Of course, it was still edible but just lacking as you know why :P
• Watched Piranha 3DD on HBO (one of the magic channels)
• Had stomach ache and headache at the same time. I hope it was not because of the sambal udang.... 
• Slept around 12.30am.
• Tuesday (17.09.2013)
• Lost my magic channels the next day! :(
• Didn't do much today, except that I cooked and ate simple meals
• Had yesterday's desserts: brownies & caramel pudding. Yup, carbo loading I was >:(
• Hubby came back from work. Again cooked carbonara for dinner :D
• Attempted to watch a Chinese movie with hubby,  "Mr. & Mrs. Incredible" " Legend of the Fist". A good movie but  I just had to fall asleep again. Hubby kind of expected. EPIC FAIL.
• Wednesday (18.09.2013)
• Cooked omelette and made hot drinks for hubby for breakfast
• Helped proofread hubby's referral letter as requested
• Sent hubby for work
• Car wash by myself. Satisfied from cleaning the exterior as well as the interior! :D
• Didn't go out the whole day. Plan to make bread abandoned as not enough ingredient (the bread flour!) :P
• Attempted to call the IIUM Finance Dept in Kuantan about my over payment. Nobody picked up my calls :( 
• Had a little chat with Ana Akfan on FB. It was a nice :)
• Laundry
• Cooked myself a brunch or rather snacks--> cucur ikan bilis. Yummy as always :D
• Called the Finance again. This time somebody answered and my issue was entertained. They promised to look into it and get it settled in a week's time. Hopefully everything's alright  >,<
• Picked up hubby from work and went to Suria Sabah for dinner. Had Mee Hoon Sup while abang had his breads and some croissants from YoYo! Gotta love them!
• Watched sunset near Suria Sabah Mall
• Went to Giant Store at the neighbourhood on the way back to buy the much anticipated bread flour and other things
• Make Muesli Bread and I hope it works! :)

• Printed out MMC form
• Went to Post Office to send the form via Pos Ekspress
• Had an amazing lunch bought at Putrajaya Sabah for only RM5.50 :D
• Had a simple dinner at home
• Made Carbonara pasta which hubby loved, post call :D
• Saturday ( 14.09.2013)
• Went for jogging at Taman Perdana with hubby. Ran for 1.5 miles! :D
• Off to Tg Aru for a morning walk and mini birding--> long tailed parakeet, parrot! 
• Another long walk to Jabatan Air Sabah in the city to check on the bill--> CLOSED :(
• Went to Kolombong Giant Store to buy stuff for next day's mini housewarming
• Had KFC for lunch. Super hungry! --> there goes my run! :(
• Attempted egg-less caramel pudding for the first time. Put it into the fridge to set. Outcome: To be continued :)
• Sunday (15.09.2013)
• Checked my caramel pudding first thing in the morning--> FAILED to set :(( but tasted delicious...
• Went for a jog at Likas Sports Complex Park. Ran another 1.5 miles with a heavy heart (buhuhu). Hubby spotted grey rumped tree swift & brown capped woodpecker :)
• Watched lawn ball game by the old folks. Quite an interesting watch. Reminds me of petanque very much! 
• Major housekeeping & laundry
• Second attempt at egg-less caramel pudding. Super scary but....the outcome was GOOD! The pudding managed to set this time. Alhamdulilah :))
• Made some pretzels for the 2nd time. Hubby helped shape the dough and this time around we managed to get the pretzel shape "right". Hubby quit halfway due to frustration (his word) because the dough was too sticky! :P
• Housewarming at 7pm. Hubby's colleagues came. Served Spaghetti Bolognaise with broccoli, hot dogs, pretzels, drinks & caramel pudding! :D
• Met my future MO's from O&G Dept... generally nice people. Had quite a chat with Kak Ainon, Dr Faizal's wife. Talked about juggling work and family life basically. A very nice person to talk with :)
• 11pm. Slept like no one else's business. Woohoo! :D

• Arrived at KKIA at 1.30am. Hubby picked me up :)
• Slept like a dead log
• Had croissant & Milo drinks for brekkie
• Started housecleaning- upstairs where the rooms and toilets are :)
• Had lunch with hubby at nearby Malay restaurant- can't recall the name of the place but quite decent food. Not bad :)
• Went to 1Borneo for some shopping in the evening. Household and food items 
• Had pizza for dinner @ Pizza Hut, 1Borneo with hubby :)

• Saturday (7.09.2013)
• Major housekeeping actually began! 
• Hubby helped mop the floor and sort out the recycle items
• Laundry time! Figured out that the drain hose leaked at the connector end... needed to get a new one.
• Another shopping trip at Suria Sabah this time. More household items. And yes, a new drain hose bought. Yay :P
• Had dinner at Kenny Rogers. Super hungry! >:D

• Sunday (8.09.2013)
• Off to Kota Belud at 7am
• Beautiful sunny weather
• Filled up the tank at a gas station & went for a drive thru for brekkie
• Continued our 1 hour  plus journey to Kota Belud
• Arrived at Tamu Kota Belud or its Sunday Market at 8ish. Super excited for another shopping spree! *hubby geleng kepala* :P
• Bought so many things at a much cheaper price! Yay :D
• Went to Pantai Usukan for some afternoon walk. It was getting hot but I loved the village view and life. Simplicity at its best :)
• Drove back to KK afterwards. Dropped by at Giant store in the neighbourhood area to buy some stuff dinner and some brand new cooking utensils at lower price ;)
• It was raining heavily as we reached home by 2pm, yet feeling super happy. Got everything I needed at that moment , yes. 
• Cooked rice and fried chicken and carrots with oyster sauce for dinner. Hubby liked the dinner (without the rice, of course)

• Finalizing my luggages for the umpteenth time (ended up with nearly 30 kilos with everything, I seriously dont care this time if it exceeds because I just don't want to do it anymore...) @,@
• Room all clean by about 5pm. Howyeah.
• Mom called to ask about dinner. Requested char kuey teow, taufu fa & fruits from pasar malam. Wee :D
• Watched Masterchef Australia Season 4 (top 4)- Andy is on a roll lately! And yes, he won the title eventually *spoiler alert*

• Watched Masterchef US Season 4 Ep 21. James was out for serving undercooked chicken.Meh. Top 4: Luca, Jessie, Natasha & Krissi! (Omg why is she still in?!)

Trip to Batu Pahat (part II)

• Sunday (1.09.2013)
• Off to Pantai Minyak Beku (15 mins drive from BP town) in the morning
• Went to find a place for breakfast in the area but none, so we ended up buying some bread + sushis + yogurt drinks at Big AEON supermarket 
• Packed our bags and checked out from the hotel at 12pm
• Went to Shabana's wedding reception at Dewan Jubli Intan in town
• Had a great meal but unable to stay longer to take pictures with the bride and groom due to time constraint :(
• Made a few stops on the way back to Bangi for prayer
• Very slow traffic along the North-South Expressway with heavy rain
• Made it home safely around 6pm. Cost of trip was RM30
